• An apparatus for culturing an organ tissue slice under the supplies of a liquid culture medium and an oxygenated gas. (Issued)
• A method for culturing an organic tissue slice in an oxygenated gas under the supply of a liquid culture medium. (Issued)
• An improved artificial liver comprising a static liver-slice culture apparatus-plasma separator, bioreactor, and means for circulation. (Issued)
• A bio-artificial liver system having a separator for separating plasma and blood, a liver-slice culture apparatus, or bioreactor, to detoxify the plasma. (Pending)
